Tobacco has a drug in it called nicotine which sends the pulse and blood pressure high. People who smoke for the first time may feel dizzy or sick. Those who have been smoking for a long time say it helps them relax and deal with boredom. Although a few people smoke now and then, nicotine is very addictive so many people become hooked and smoke all the time. If they dont smoke they will feel restless and narky - giving up is very difficult. Smoking causes coughs, chest and breathing problems. |
