High quality learning resources and ‘industry standard’ equipment, visits to local, regional, national cultural facilities
High quality ‘live’ projects, on themes of relevance to young people (eg. Great Teams, Drugspotting, Neighbourhood Images, Pathways photography, mosaics ...)
Accessibility & anti-poverty package of a realistic training allowance or the choice to retain benefits, plus travel, meals and dependent care expenses
32 hour week: 24 hours direct teaching, plus eight hours ‘study time’ for preparation, research, course journal, portfolio, etc.
Teaching occurs in small groups of one tutor to eight participants (average)
One-to-one support is always available – friendly and respectful learning
Personal tutorials, ‘pastoral’ support and action planning for ‘progression’ (what to do after the course)
